It does for post season consideration in baseball, basketball, etc. CUSA might actually be on the forefront here knowing the playoffs are about to expand and divisions in all conferences are going away. SEC confirmed they will not have divisions. We've already seen a non-SEC winner make the natty and actually win it all 3 times. Alabama over LSU, Alabama over Georgia, Georgia over Alabama.

They really need to put up a plaque somewhere that lists NIT/NCAA appearances, and division titles. Banners should be reserved for conference titles and Sweet Sixteen, Elite 8, Final Four appearances.

I’m okay with the banners for now. I agree that ideally they’d be for Sweet 16 and better, but we’re not there yet. Soon.

Maybe if they have to consolidate banners one day they will auction off the others lol.

Most programs around the country hang banners for their post-season appearances.  You'll be nauseous for the rest of your fandom.  I would keep some meds on you.
