We will all but certainly be a 7-6 conference runner-up going into a bowl game in SL's SEVENTH year as HC. That's not getting it done. Time to cut bait. Unless significant amount of money can be saved by keeping him until seasons end, there is 0 reason to hang on to him.

We wasted great field position 2 times and were unable to get anything done. This offense can't come in clutch when they face a stout defense.

I know what you’re trying to say, but 90% of the teams in the country would kill for a chance to beat a bad team the last week of the season to make the conference championship.

Feels like 7-5 conference championship game participant says something about both the conference and the team, and is kind of a championship game participation with an asterisk.

SL needs to be great in conference to justify his salary, because he really has been horrible in OOC the past three years. The last OOC win against an FBS team? Sep 22 2018. That is more than 4 years ago!

Will I be happy when we beat Rice? Hell yes! But I will be even happier when we get to the point where we don't have to count on playing and beating bad teams to rack up wins

What I mean is they had the chances, they were up against the wall on many plays including the 3rd and 1 and couldn't get it done. Sometimes you can play poorly but come in clutch to save a drive. This offense can't do it vs. a good defense.

We will be 6-7 this is a mute point. Seth needs to be relieved of duty. Failed his goals every yr since extended
