Proximity I would guess. Two schools that close should be a guaranteed seat filler/revenue generator if all 12 SMU fans show up.

I  am glad you are happy, but how are attendance records going to be made next year. Are a lot of people waiting to watch 3 and 6 Temple and 4 and 5 Memphis.

Let’s say UNT finishes the season with a conference championship appearance (maybe win?) and a bowl win.. they go into the next season with momentum and get to open play against a P5 school. The last time a P5 school came to Denton? 2011. Might get that elusive Apogee sell out.
