Their algorithm is not looking at something in the equation based on some we passed up ? 
Funny we all want to be a respected program and rank higher than we have - we get the new number and shot holes in it - but the ranking # ain’t right. I guess we’ll have to take it.  For Seth firing friends, this isn’t going the right direction.

It's hard to say where we are. This CBS poll has Western Ky ahead of us at 71, but we just beat the brakes off of them in their house on their homecoming. My guess is we fall somewhere in between. The only thing I can think of is that the USA Today poll is relying on the Aune that showed up against WKU. With that Aune, we would have beaten Memphis and UTSA. Also maybe they are relying on the Mazin Richards we see now. After the UNLV game he commented on how moving to FBS shocked him and he didn't know how big of a transition it was and he vowed to not underestimate it again and he seems to be night and day better. The Mazin Richards improvement and the Aune of Saturday we could have possibly beaten UNLV.

I know I’m in the minority here, but I don’t think SMU beat us as bad as most do.  We shot ourselves in the foot a couple of times when it was still a game and the snowball started rolling downhill.  Sometimes when the snowball starts rolling, it’s hard to stop.  Admittedly, we were having trouble stopping their offense, but I still think it’s a different game had we not imploded.  
 

I don’t know what happened at UNLV. As I was watching that game I didn’t think they were very good, but they were just embarrassing us.  This game was the peak of disappointment for me.  
 

Memphis, I mean, we can play with those guys.😁😁. There was a lot of anguish over that statement, and the head coach shouldn’t have said it, but I took it to mean that the teams were evenly matched…which is true.

SMU slaughtered us and they could have put 40 more on us. Yes a very bad loss.

I think this was Littrell's way of saying "If our QB doesn't throw two pick 6s we win this game."

I like that you think anyone putting together these polls has any idea of who Aune is.

      Tim Pernetti's (new AAC Commissioner) remarks regarding exploring more corporate involvement seems interesting and innovative, sort of. Getting some heavy-hitter businesses on board with their big advertising/public-relations budgets. They get to splash their logos all over the AAC venues, ceremonies, uniforms, etc in exchange for some NIL type moola. I don't know, it all just feels weird and uncomfortable to this old fat guy.

      The Athletic on DFW Football recruiting

      We have complained for years about being left in the dark. The Mean Green Club was promised quarterly meetings that never took place, now there is little to no coverage of the spring practices, player movement is constant so the days of watching a last second scholarship player developing in to a Hall of Fame performer are long gone ala Johnny Quinn, there is little to no fan engagement, etc... It just keeps getting worse and without a push to really involve the fans, I foresee a bleak future. They, the AD, has to create excitement around the team/program or Apogee will just become a waste of money, the new basketball arena will never happen and future adds like baseball will just be an idea that came too late. The days of the G5's are on their way out. It will be whittled down to the top 40 or 50 programs as D1. We might as well go back to our D1AA days and play at the FCS level. I am just about done with sports from a financial commitment position. The greed has ruined it for me. Their is zero loyalty towards the program by the players. It is all about them and how much money they can cram in their pockets and it appears our basketball coach encourages the lack of loyalty. I will watch on television, but that's about it, much like pro sports have become. I have no interest in attending a Cowboys' game live once the prices became ridiculous, same with the Mav's and Rangers' in that stupid new ballpark that was a waste of money. I had arrived at a point where I was only willing to invest in watching North Texas live, but the current situation has ruined that as well. The future of all of college sports is a disaster if some type of control isn't put in place. It is ridiculous and very sad. Guess I will end up spending my money on golf, fine food and drink, drugs, etc. and become a more interesting person.
