The 20-17 UNT lead with 5:59 to go and we proceeded to run the ball 1 time and proceed to incomplete pass twice (to stop the clock) and go 3 and out. THAT drive was the game ender, IMO.

What? The lead changed 3 times after that. How in the world was that the game ender?

That was a bad loss. We were beaten by 1 player, offensively. Defensively our heralded OL and RB corp was worthless, granted play calling was suspect. They stacked in running down situations and we proceeded to run right at it. On pass situations they dropped and we proceeded to pass right into it. Funny thing is, their secondary is abysmal and we have a horribly inaccurate QB.

Exhibit A - we were trying to go tempo and extend our run game a little bit with a quick hitting WR screen...Aune threw the ball at least 5, maybe 7 yards into the turf in front of the WR. We are so limited in what we can do to press a defense that is dictating to our offense. MF has been gone for 4 years and this is where we are offensively.
