San Diego State is beatable. They are currently 3-3 and average only 18.5 PPG.

The game would be closeby, but would probably fall on Graduation Weekend.

I went to our last bowl game there and up until kick off it was a great time!

If we are 6-6 or 7-5, I'll watch on TV. Been burned to many times the last few years. San Diego State doesn't interest me at all. Maybe if we played a regional team it might help.

This is probably what our pure UNT luck will be. We will be 5-6 entering our last game at home in front of hundreds against Rice after Thanksgiving, having gotten wins over LT and FIU, while getting demolished by UTSA, UAB and WKU on the road. We win by a FG, then get this bid to the NM Bowl against 6-6 SD State. Lovelace tells Wren and Neal to wait until the bowl game ends for us to make a decision, then we pull out a 13-10 NM Bowl championship and extend Wren for 3 years, setting off the biggest party in the history of Denton at the Lovelace estate...
