You think they remember the last time we played?

I sure do!  And wasn't that Dan McCarney who coach that "Bowl Winning UNT Team"?

But he also coached the "who could forget Portland State game".  Ugh!

“This is not the end,” UNT’s coach said in front of a crowd of 38,380. “This is only the beginning.”

I sure thought it was gonna be, too. I thought we had a guy in DMac who knew how to find and coach linemen, so our physical play would just build us up. But that recruiting and lack of understanding of QB play in the modern game was just too much. He allowed us to have the worst set of QBs I’ve ever seen us roll out for a season in 2015. McNulty wouldn’t have been a QB on another FBS roster, while Greer wouldn’t have been a QB on almost any FCS program. Smith had some polish but he couldn’t manage the offense, which wasn’t exactly complicated. It was so sad to see this end DMac’s career, but there was simply no other choice. It remains the ONLY time we have made a huge buyout with multiple years left on a contract for a revenue sport coach.

Tell me, my friends: in your heads to you read this with the voice of Morgan Freeman, or David Attenborough?

Sam Elliot.
