Arkansas NT Sighting

I attended a gender reveal party outside of the small town of Magazine, Arkansas last night.  I was wearing one of my North Texas shirts. A young man asked me if and when I had attended NT.  I told him I graduated in 62, 64, and 68.  He said he was a 2009 graduate.  About thirty people were there.  What were the odds.

Walking on the pedestrian bridge in Chattanooga, TN this summer while wearing my UNT hat and a young man stopped me and asked if I had seen the fake fair catch. I told him I was at the game and he said he was a punt returner in HS at the time and used to practice it all the time after that game.

In Colorado recently wearing a shirt with the SOW. A lady asks if I live in Denton. I told her I grew up there and went to North Texas but now live in Midland. She says she lives in Justin and is there with her kids who live in Midland. Crazy.

I hiked Mt. Elbert, the highest peak of Colorado, in early July and talked with some guys from and who attended Arkansas. They graduated between 2020 and 2021. I was quick to reminisce of the fake fair catch. 🙂
