NCAA proposes Transfer Portal windows

Recommended Posts

I am with DeLong on this one.  You cant afford to develop players any longer.  The high school guys who are going to get hurt by this.   If a player does not agree with a coach on to the next stop.  If a player gets his feelings hurt on to the next stop. The big guys want a free farm system.

This is encouraging non-commitment.

I don't know how coaches will be able to retain any non-starter, or any starter that thinks he's better than the program and now P5 material.

The P5's would be able to restock with the best Lower PF and G5 players every year. Seems like a step to put in place if the Mega Conferences are planning on splitting and telling the NCAA here is our list of demands if you want us to be a part of the NCAA. Also, seems the upper P5's are also throwing around an increase from 85 to at least 95 scholarship players and UNLIMITED coaches and assistants.
