Will we have and out of conference home games?

As of now, nothing. We will probably play a lower level D1 team/D2 team at home, but I’m not sure when we find out.

With, assumed, 8 games already (assuming we play @ UTA and a championship game for the Nassau Tournament), we’d only have 4-5 more slots of games left.

UAB released their full schedule today.

January 21st at Bartow

February 9th at the Super Pit

Looks like we'll all be playing 20 conference games. (a home and home with every other team). That's the most fair. But doesn't leave us many spots for more OOC home games.

My reaction to seeing it, and I find it odd UNT hasn’t said anything on it yet…

at UTSA Dec 22 (WHAT WHY SO EARLY)
vs FAU Dec 29
vs FIU Dec 31
at WKU Jan 5 (smh)
at MTSU Jan 7
vs La Tech Jan 11 WTFFFF A WEDNESDAY ?!?!?
at FAU Jan 14
at FIU Jan 16  A MONDAY?!
vs Rice Jan 19
at UAB Jan 21 (Saturday game that should be on national TV)
vs UTSA Jan 26
vs UTEP Jan 28
at Rice Feb 4

vs UAB Feb 9 (another Thursday home game against UAB 🙄🙄🙄🙄)
vs Charlotte Feb 11
at La Tech Feb 16 (UGHHHHH WHY NOT A SATURDAY)
at UTEP Feb 18
at Charlotte Feb 23
vs MTSU Mar 2
vs WKU Mar 4 (finally a good home game that could decide a lot of tournament implications)

Although I’m glad ODU/USM/Marshall left, basketball wise, it really messed up the schedule format.

Looks like another year of boring non-conference opponents at home. I know it's probably hard to get good schools to come play here because of our recent success but is Omaha the best we can do? Grant's teams will always be road tested for conference! Go Mean Green!

We had like 6-7 games, a few at home, fall through.

Nobody REALLY wants to play us because a slow tempo, good defensive team is hard to prepare for…

Are teams backing out of actual commitments? Or just going back on their word. It'd be nice to receive some sort of payment if a school decides they want to back out of a game.

New rule: if a school backs out of a scheduled game with UNT, UNT gets to choose one player from their roster to swap with one player we also choose from our own roster.

I feel like also we're that tweener team too. Good enough to knock you off, but not ranked high enough to be a huge RPI win
