How is this even possible?

DALLAS – Conference USA is represented by a total of 15 student-athletes on the 2022 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division 1 All-Region Teams, from Charlotte, Louisiana Tech, Marshall, Southern Miss and WKU the association announced Thursday afternoon. The awards honor softball student-athletes from the association’s 10 regions with first, second and third team distinctions. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominated and voted on teams.

I don't know but I'd sure like to find out.  

I read the article and the only Midwest teams that had nominees were Nebraska (7) and Oklahoma State (6).  I am guessing that coaches from competing teams must do the nominating and no one from Nebraska or Oklahoma State nominated any of our players.  

Hopefully, someone will ask Coach DeLong for an explanation.

Similar thing happened in the all CUSA tournament team which was dominated by WKU players.  I assume these things are voted on by coaches and I just wonder if Delong and/or NT has made some enemies that take it out on the NT players.
