Marshall's gotta' be feeling worse than FAU.
They were beating GA Southern 24-3 for most of the game but GS scored 23 in the last half of the 4th, helped by a couple of Marshall turnovers.
Leading 23-3 and 7:22 to go, Stone Earle gave up a safety (intentional grounding) to make it 24-5. Over the final 7:22, Marshall's drives consisted of a punt, 2 fumbles, and an interception while GA Southern, scored 3 TD's, taking the lead 27-24 with about 1 minute to go. That's when Earle threw his interception.
It produced a very fast, last minute 180° flip in the winning trend chart.
