North Texas well represented.

They should be they won the conference by 2 games.  Yes, I know they only look at divisions.

I am somewhat disappointed that Abou Ousmane was not recognized.  However, the honorable mention stuff has not been released, the Conference has not released anything official at this point.

So we are picked 6th and Mc cleans the floor against the conference? He should be coach of the year!

You may want to revisit where MT was predicted to finish because the rest of your qualifiers fit.   I'm sure McCasland himself would agree (seeing how modest he is by nature).

Mccasland did a horrible job.  In fact, he shouldn't even have been considered.  There also is no reason any other schools should even consider interviewing him.  It would be a waste of their time.  He just cant coach....

Calm down Andrew 🤣

Well MT coach was picked 14th and won the division so I can see why he was chosen

Nope! The west is obviously the tougher side based off wins and loses. Net ranking in the top 45, next C-USA team is La Tech then MTSU at over 100! Could we loose in conf and get an at large bid? We are the only team in conf that has that chance. He should of won in overwhelming fashion!

I probably would've given COTY to the MTSU guy too.  Mac is the best coach, but no one saw how good the Blue Raiders were gonna be this year.  At least WE thought NT was gonna be way better than 6th.  Even MTSU fans thought they were gonna suck this year.

Which is a huge fear of mine, because it was not that long ago that mtsu was so much better than everyone else in our conference then their coach got poached and they fell off the cliff immediately.

side note, their coach was there forever, but he has failed miserably at his new location. So, maybe food for thought??

It also didn’t work too well for the last bball coach to have success at our school after he “got his dream job”
