Will More Of The Bench Be Playing

Just wondering that now that we have pretty much won the conference, will the bench outside the regular rotation of  7 players be given more minutes to play and possibly starts and finish games?

Yeah, and did that game against Buffalo affect us? Where would we be ranked if we had not lost that game?

Unless there are real concerns about endurance we need to be pushing hard to the end. Notwithstanding the fact that we beat Purdue last year, we have a chance this year to get a legitimately winnable game via seeding.

I wouldn't speak too fast. Although I want to see more of the bench playing, MTSU only has three conference losses and UAB and LaTech could conceivably catch us if they win out and we lose three of the remaining four games. We need to play hard until the end. Not likely to lose to UTSA or USM, but stranger things have happened. LaTech will be tough and going to UTEP will not be a cakewalk.

Not only are there 2 teams in the west breathing down our necks but I want to be in the best position for an at-large should we lose in the conference tourney. Best way to do that is to win-out in the regular season. Can't let off the gas now.

I hope the bench gets dipped into for USM & UTSA.  Those should be double-digit wins.    But I won’t complain if Coach McCasland doesn’t want to take his foot off the gas.

See I'd be ok with dipping a toe such as 4 regular players with 1 bench guy (outside Scott and Perry) for a few minutes here and there but not having bench guys start/finish games unless it's a 20 point lead with a few minutes left. Games can take a bad turn really fast and the last thing we want is cold starters having to finish a game they haven't played much in.

Unlikely to see much of the bench unless it is a blowout. I would like to have seen Wright a little more. Like 5-8 minutes a game.
