Softball: Goes 2-0 on Day One of the Tracy Beard Classic

Sophomore Molly Rainey capped off day one of the Tracy Beard College Classic with a walk-off RBI single to defeat Colorado State 7-6 in the night cap to give the Mean Green their second win of the day. In earlier action, North Texas dropped Montana 8-0 in a five-inning run rule win.

I wonder why NT is sponsoring a softball tournament that is so hard to watch online.

The sign up does not work at all for me, I enter the email address and it states that email is already used.  However, there is no way to continue further.

The $30 signup per month is outrageous, plus there is no data there to determine if the service can be ended after a month.  

I am not big enough of a softball fan to investigate further, but someone in the NT athletic administration needs to ensure that fans can have reasonable access to the games.

Why are we hosting a tournament all the way over in Melissa?  Is Lovelace not ready yet?

Beat Nevada 7-6 in their first game today and are leading ACU 3-0 in their second game.

Beat ACU 3-1 to go 2-0 on day two and 4-0 for the tournament. 
 

Play UT on Wednesday. Game will be on LHN.

You need more than one field to host a 6-team, round robin tournament.
