He’s been blown up on here more than he should. Would love to keep SOC players home but not a dominate player. Don’t know why FSU would want to make him a priority. A transfer portal candidate in 2-3 years.

All the more reason to keep a good relationship with him.  I like the Ellison linebacker Matthew Moore a lot so this doesn't hurt as much.

Maybe. If he goes to FSU and can’t crack the two-deep then he probably wouldn’t be a good portal target. When we have signed P5 transfers in the past, if they haven’t been guys who could at least sniff the two deep, they haven’t done much better here. The guys who at least pushed to have their name in the mix, that’s the guys we want. Trice, Pegram, Enoch Jackson. If Brown-Turner is like that and hits the portal, yeah could be worth re-recruiting.

The only reason I can see he would be worth a shot if things do not work out is because with the way FSU's recruiting is trending they will probably be adding 4/5 Star HS players and recruits at his position. It really seems like they are looking at him as a "project". He is clearly the lowest rated player they are signing. Guess he wanted P5.

If him wanting to go P5 was the main factor here, he could’ve committed to a P5 before us the first time around. This wasn’t his first P5 offer, but they recruited him just as hard as us, if not harder.

I just found it strange that he was their lowest rated recruit (247 @ .8461 and the next was .8567)
