North Texas remaining season schedule:

There are four very tough games left.

UTEP just lost to Marshall... at home.  I like our chances.

Some nights the basketball doesn't fall. That's why I like our team built on defense - much more consistency. I still worry that we'll have an off night behind the arch or teams that force us to the line more frequently that may derail us even further.

As it has been always this season, the only game that will truly matter on the NCAA Tournament from CUSA will be the championship game in Frisco. Everything now is all about seeding and getting the best path. Avoiding La Tech and UAB for as long as possible is your best way forward, so getting the number seed should be the best way to avoid them until a final, making both of them have to play each other before we would conceivably play them.

CUSA was never gonna be a two-bid league. That's now how the tournament selection works--they get some non-power conferences, like the MWC or the A10 or the WCC, to get multiple bids, but we aren't on that list.

If we win out and make it to the Championship game, We will get an at large bid with the national attention we are getting. Top defensive team in the country and winning out to the title game would give us a 18-19 game winning streak. Let's just win the tournament and dream about a 10 or 11 seed. Go Mean Green!
