That's actually pretty good for C-USA--a few years ago, we were floating around #21-23.  If we can consistently get two teams in the NCAA tournament and make noise there, maybe fewer people will call C-USA "low mid-major."  All a moot point, since in a couple years we will be in a conference that no sane person would call "low mid-major."

BTW, the term "mid-major" in college basketball came decades before "P5" and "G5" in football.

The only real objection I have to calling CUSA "low mid major" is come NCAA Tournament time, the league almost always wins the first game in an upset going back several years now.
