I’m sure it will be on YouTube in short order. A TON of people were recording it. They were really good tonight.

Note: it was the same halftime show from every other halftime they performed this year.

It was a good show.  It looked like Miami might have brought a scaled down band, as they didn't march, but just played to the stands and swayed and gyrated occasionally while standing in place.

There was no comparison between the two bands.  Not even close.

Miami also collaborated with the Green Brigade on the field for the national anthem.

We sat on Miami side and fans told us they only brought half a band, which was ok as we only played half a game.

I really enjoyed the new stand tunes they used yesterday, too. They were using their phones to read the new music. Thought that was pretty cool. It was a nice change up from what I’m used to hearing.

The Green Brigade has always been incredible.

This year's edition may have been the greatest ever. They were that good.

The band was absolutely fantastic this season, they keep getting better each year.

They were enjoyable during those blowouts earlier this year… haha

Has the band always done the same routine all season each season?   I feel like they used to change it up each game, but that stopped at some point.

What is the main tune that the GB is working with in this performance? I've heard it before, but I'm not sure if it's a pop tune or a movie theme.

It's not unusual for College Bands (including the GB) to work up a base show that they may add to as the season goes on. The GB that I first saw in my youth (60's) had a new show every week. But back in those days, they were a svelte 120- member ensemble.......all of them music majors.  Now they are 400+ and mostly non-music majors.  So, completely changing your show and music from one appearance to another would be (IMHO) daunting at best.

Not sure which you consider the “main” tune.

We are big time spoiled with the GB. I know their marching gets criticized sometimes (I’m no marching band performance expert), but I personally couldn’t care less about that. They can just stand there and play as far as I’m concerned.
