I'm pretty sure Cal had turf. I was at the game, but don't really remember it being grass.

I agree.  I will say that sometimes Frisco ISD has football games at that stadium Friday, with FC Dallas playing within a couple days. The grounds crew should be able to patch it up ok.

We have a grass practice field I think next to the IPF.  I think it's named after one of our former coaches.
