All I remember is that Cincinnati did not want to play  in The New Orleans Bowl and their coach was upset when it was announced. I also think it was a last minute designation by CUSA, like about a week before the game. However I have slept since then and am sure someone with a better memory can comment.

Thinking back, UC had a big basketball game that same night. Maybe they thought more of their fans would show up for that than a fun time on Bourbon Street?

Does anyone remember how good or bad Cincinnati was when we beat them? They were CUSA champions, but what was their record?

How about when we beat UNLV?

The Longhorns won like 5 straight bowls prior to this year? Anyone know any of their opponents or their records?

I want a match up we can win. Celina High school or their college equivalent is fine with me.

Cincinnati was 7-6 (6-2) coming into the N.O. Bowl. Wins that season were over TCU, Temple, Louisville, Memphis, Houston, UAB and East Carolina. A couple of their losses were by by 3 to West Virginia and by 4 to Ohio State.

Don’t buy from this site!!   Buy from the NT ticket office if you can!

Ummm.  It's just the official confirmation of -A- bowl game and time.  I don't think there's any official word yet of where UNT is going.

My point was that most people would have to look it up.

Five years from now, nobody will care if Miami was 6-6 or 8-4. Just win the game.
