Sins of Our Past

Is Seth damned for his past sins?

Past teams had so much recruiting effort for better skill position players. Defense seemed to be an afterthought.

It showed every time we played a good team.
Changes have finally been made (DC & defensive asst.,  productive transfers) and that side is showing huge improvement.

Can Seth continue to grow this program?
With UNT moving on to a “better conference”, will we be able to land some better transfer portal players that want to play against better competition (QB, D-Line, O-line)?

It's no secret that Seth neglected our lines for years. But Littrell also took QB's in every class... and he still hasn't developed a single caller fit to run the offense. Bad recruiting or bad coaching? Maybe both. Whatever your answer, it all boils down to Seth failing at UNT and needing to be fired.

he brings in another Mason Fine-like QB.

We caught lightning in a bottle with Fine. No D1 and very few D2’s had any interest in him as a QB. I honestly thought we would switch him to slot receiver. Glad we didn’t.
QB’s have been recruited and transfers brought in. All these have been busts (jury is still out on Ruder).

Will the quality of the QB’s willing to play at UNT because we will be playing in a tougher conference improve?
