Who needs a QB...

Well a man came into our house and looked real GOOD at QB.

We had a chance to get him but we "don't need another QB" when he was available.

B. Zappe passed for 470 yards today (39-49) for WKU a win (52 WKU-17 FAU), with our QB's having problems getting to 100 against most decent ball clubs. It's going to be an interesting recruiting season.

Well I guess if there is a toilet bowl this year we might be in it with tu!

I’m still not seeing the downside

I didn’t say there was a downside, I was just wondering if we had the roster of staff space to make such a move. I have no idea what the situation was at that particular time. I know we were mega worried about losing Bloesch at that particular time.

Is there anywhere where it was mentioned he wanted to come/was interested in UNT? The things I saw at the time was he and the brothers were always planning to follow their OC. They all three entered the portal together.

I never saw anything linking UNT to Zappe. Once his OC went to WKU, I think the general consensus was that’s where he was headed.

I’m not excluding myself from above comments. I also would have been extremely skeptical if we basically moved a entire FCS offense to Denton. It has worked out very well for WKU.. good for them. Meanwhile, we’re taking care of business and absolutely hammering FIU, which I’m quite enjoying.
