For Seths type of money he may find living in our state just fine.  He was my choice when we were last searching.  He would be my pick.

I think I need new glasses or more sleep. I read that link as www.sugarmecocksports.com and was thinking what the heck is Deep up to.

You can bring in Nick Saban and nothing would change. Denton is not a place where any coach can run a winning football program.

Let's be real. Majority of students, community and alumni don't give a hoot about nt football program.

I would have agreed with you a few years ago. However the difference between us is that while your cup is half empty mine is half full. We had a historically underfunded athletic program. No more. We were primarily a teacher and music college. No more. We are a commuter college. No more. We had not put a  dime into athletic facilities. No more. We need more student, community, and alumni support. Who doesn't. "Never" is a long time, and a look in the rear view mirror is not always pretty. Having said that I believe that we are just one hire away from reaching our potential .

That is horsecrap.

What part is horsecrap? I mean he probably doesn't follow us regularly, just like the rest of the 98% of the UNT Family, but this place has a way to really beat people down, fans and coaches alike.

I cannot tell you how many people with UNT connections either quit being a fan or just refused to even consider it. And I know that there are lots of reasons for that. They say winning will cure this, so I hope we can actually do that again in the years ahead.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, flexbone. We aren't winning national championships, we just aren't. And I know the state is filled with spread offenses, doesn't mean you can't cherry pick the underrecruited much like the service academies do. Undersized linemen is also a plus in this offense. It sets us a part and makes us difficult to game plan for. We become a headache for a lot of people.

Are you talking about the offense that we ran in the late 80's. Most notably the one we were beating Texas with in the 1988 game? If so, I say make it happen.
