LA Tech vs SMU

I know this will warm all your hearts, but an SMU radio guy just welcomed SMU Prez Gerald Turner to another Joe Aillet(sp?) press box suite.
Honestly, do La Tech’sters have strategic polaroids of  Prez’ Turner or what?  They seem to have his attention.  Real Texan of ya’, Gerald. I wish a sink hole for your school.

(Sorry, 48 years of SMU made me this way starting with the first game when the below photo was taken, circa 1974).

The Mean Greener in the pic is Ex Kansas City Chiefs great & NT Athletic Hall of Famer J.T. Smith.
(I’m over off by a Kerr Hall street in my car & in the shade waiting for a cold front to come thru so I can go over to Apogee).

year in and year out, la tech has a consistently decent program with half the resources and a worse location than we have.

I think skip holtz has had maybe one losing season since he’s gotten there

I have always thought, if we had the opening, we should go after Holtz

I wouldn’t mind. I doubt it would placate 75% of this board but he wins and does it with less resources so that’s not a bad idea
