So he committed after we finished back-to-back 4 win seasons, posts regularly to social media about his excitement for being a part of the Mean Green…and we think this season will be the deciding factor?  Sure, that tracks.

Yeah it does. He’s gonna have bigger schools coming after him. The previous was teams like UConn, Kansas, etc

If he continues to play like he is now, it’ll be tough to keep him in general. Winning would help a lot.

Seems a lot of people are always saying "why can't we get players to stay in Denton", and then when a player wants to stay we hear "he's not going to stay" 😈

      St. Johns is one of the great sleeping giant jobs in the nation. They have a fantastic basketball history (they haven't been that great for the last generation or so, but the Johnies do have a helluva tradition) going back about 80 years and they play in NYC at MSG.

      Recent Past With all the excitement over Tylor Perry we quickly forgot about the best player from our recent past. The stats and awards bear it out. In my mind the answer is Javion Hamlet. No other player has accomplished what he has. https://meangreensports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/javion-hamlet/4731 Imagine what he would have accomplished if the 2020 NCAA Tournament had not been cancelled. We won the Conference in 2020 and arguably that was the best team we have ever had.

      Judge orders Florida State, ACC to mediation to settle suit

      A majority of schools could just vote to dissolve the ACC. There would be a court fight, but eventually schools that want out will be released with some greatly reduced financial penalty. It's like a divorce, you can't keep someone in an unhappy relationship, even with a contract. It will happen probably before the end of next year at the pace things are moving.
