Sounds like he’s going to pick a guy and roll with him instead of going with co-starters. Tough to tell who that call will be but kind of sounds like verbiage is setting things up for it to be Ruder. Who knows though?

Honestly the bar is pretty low (not terribly so) at QB for us. If Aune or Ruder is the man, then I'm cheering him on every Saturday and bitching every Sunday.

I just want the team behind one man only until he's out for injury or incompetence. I think most of this board is hoping ruder turns out to be everything we hope a P5 QB can be, but it sounds like Aune is really making his presence known. I love a good QB competition, just not a QB rotation

I predict that both QBs get significant playing time against NWS, with Aune starting. The FT starter will be named in time for smut.

They saw what a disaster last year was in that category. I would’ve been very disappointed if we didn’t pick one and run

This is very true.  He was also let go at Arkansas when Chad Morris was there.  So forgive us if we have some doubts.

My doubts have nothing to do with his leaving Arkansas, they are all based on his actual performance at North Texas.  I am certain that the "but but but he had the best passer rating of any CUSA quarterback on a Saturday evening with cloudy skies and the temperature between 65 and 82 degrees" crowd will now come for me, but there is simply no denying that he shared Bean's propensity to loan the ball to the opposition and he was rotated with Bean by this coaching staff for a reason.
