The points awarded in each category are a reflection of their rating among the 130 teams.  From the article:

The number one team gets 130 points. Number 2 gets 129, and so on, all the way to 130, which gets one point.

Which means, in your table from Alabama, they are the number one ranked program in win count (gets you 130 points), and the number 3 ranked team when it comes to winning percentage (gets you 128 points).

On the other end of the spectrum, a dead-last ranking of 130 in any category gets you 1 point.

Once they award those points across all categories, they sum it all up and thus the article's list/order.

....this point system is very similar to NCAA Bracket games I've played in.

Thanks! Not very intuitive, but its is after 5 and drinking time.
