He plays the game with a flare that is not seen a lot at the high school level.  He can score the basketball from a variety of ways with little to no effort.  He has a lightning quick first step as well as a crossover dribble that at times can bring defenders to their knees.  He has a strong upper body frame and is an exceedingly difficult matchup for defenders at the high school level.  He can get his shoot off against most defenders and has increased his range to beyond the three-point line.  In the open court he sees the floor very well with the ball in his hand and sets him teammates up for easy baskets.  He has a high basketball IQ and is particularly good in the pick and roll.  He does not force the issue and plays the game at a steady pace but can turn on the intensity at a snap of finger and create plays for his team at any point.

Picked Texas State

I wonder if the NT offer was still on the table

I know I’m super late to this, but it was down to North Texas and Texas State. Felt closer to the TXST coach, despite having his cousin, Rubin Jones, here at NT.
