Recommended Posts

DENTON – The Mean Green Scholarship Fund and North Texas Athletics have announced the 2021 Coaches Caravan schedule. Two caravan events will take place during the summer. The first will be a virtual event in partnership with the North Texas Alumni Association, broadcast live over Zoom, with the second event scheduled to take place in person in Apogee Stadium's HUB Club.

The virtual Coaches Caravan will take place on Thursday, June 24 at 4:00 p.m. The event will be part of the North Texas Alumni Association's Alumni Live! series and will feature Mean Green men's basketball head coach Grant McCasland, women's basketball head coach Jalie Mitchell, football head coach Seth Littrell, and vice president and director of athletics Wren Baker. The event will be moderated by Hank Dickenson.

Fans will have the opportunity to submit questions during the broadcast. One fan will also be selected to win a VIP package, which includes HUB Club tickets and reserved parking, to an agreed upon Mean Green football game.

Fans can register for the virtual Coaches Caravan by clicking HERE.

The in-person event, scheduled for Saturday, August 14, will give fans their first opportunity to return to Apogee Stadium ahead of the 2021 season. More details will be announced at a later date. Be sure to follow Mean Green Sports on Twitter and Facebook and visit MeanGreenSports.com throughout the summer for announcement and information surrounding Coaches Caravans and the upcoming seasons.

Sorry to see them zooming this.  Wouldn’t it be much better to do both in person?

2019 called. It wants its social justification back.

Its odd to me, but this is the world now. Virtual is the new live. Scary to think what comes next...

Too bad.  A ZOOM Coaches Caravan sounds as exciting as a ZOOM New Year’s eve party.

Yeah. Just wait until your kids meet a partner on zoom. Get married in zoom. Adopt a gender fluid kid in zoom. Only to die (on zoom) learning their 108 year old haitian wife was greenjoe all along
