Smatresk hasn't fired anyone in his entire tenure at UNT.  I seriously doubt he will here.  Plus it would require a majority vote.

If he couldn't get a majority vote by the CUSA Presidents to fire Judy then all of them must have their heads in the sand.

If the schools in this conference think Judy is the answer then CUSA will continue to fail. Go find the best person available and do the right thing

Dr. Smatresk is a very effective and creative leader. If he continues sharing his vision and is successful in bringing the other presidents on board, our conference will be completely renovated in every way in a very short period of time. I'm excited about his tenure and have high expectations.
