Tiny 5’9” FCS cornerback. A bit of a head scratcher here as we are now digging into 2022 scholarships I would guess. Looks to still be a freshman. From Frisco so if we liked him so much why didn’t we offer in high school?

By comparison, he is almost identical in size to Upton Stout, who looked the best of our defensive backs last year.

That is a good point on his size and had seen his brothers were also D1 athletes. Just a curious pickup to me given we are probably now eating into next year’s scholarships.

Normally Walerius would ring the alarm on Twitter when a scholarship is awarded...   I haven't seen anything from him.    We sure this isn't a walk-on?

Under recruited athlete.  This is a steal for UNT.  Brother Ranthony was smaller and became TCU All American.  Brother Raleigh starts for Baylor and expected to be top CB in country this year.  He is definitely a Scholarship player, was All District in High School on both sides of the ball.  As you can see from his 247 Account, kid can play anywhere on the field.  Also only true Freshmen with significant reps in secondary for McNeese State.  For this family, size is not an issue.

did not attend UNT, wife did.  Have follow the Texadas a long time thru Frisco football and college.  Lots of info online about the brothers.  Many people say Ridge best of the 3, we will see.  Good pickup for UNT.
