Wonder if that new DC helped??

For sure. Players knew Bowen was not a good coach, and Bennett seems to have changed the culture on defense. I can even get confirmation from players on the team.

Jackson made the right decision, and I bet Bennett was all over him.

Brune said it on his podcast the other day “Bennett was making sure players knew what they did wrong and wasn’t afraid to point it out.”

I sat on the student side for the spring game, and he was constantly getting onto players for little things. Things Ref and Bowen didn’t do.

Hoping it translates onto the field come fall.

This from one ‘recruitinator🧐

Enoch Jackson is a quick, powerful interior defender who best fits a four-man front. Jackson shows impressive get-off at the snap. He plays with great leverage consistency that allows him to maximize his strength and power. The strength in his lower body is obvious as Jackson can steer offensive linemen into the gap or simply push them back into the pocket."
