MTSU gets in along with freaking UTSA that didn't even qualify for our conference match play.  How in the world did they get an invite over us, UAB and even Charlotte?  Makes zero sense.

MTSU got the autobid because they won the conference. The others had at larges and there it is the rest of the season outside of the confrence tournament that caused NT to miss.

UTSA (52nd) UAB (38th) and Charlotte (42nd) all have better Golfstat and likely also golfweek rankings than NT (67th). NT probably missed only by the thinnest of hairs. Among 10 and 11th seeds (i.e. the worst at larges) I counted 5 teams in the 60ies who made it, with San Diego as 66th being the worst one who got an at large. So I really think NT missed by the thinnest of margins, but it is understandable with look at those rankings.
