Committed to Missouri St. Excellent arm strength and accuracy. Throws  a very good deep ball.  Good mobility but primarily a pocket passer. Very quick release.

Does not look to run but is effective when needed. The only box unchecked is his size.  Can’t be much more than 160 lbs. Great stats but could have been much higher had it not been for the blow out wins in district; where the clock ran continuously after half in each game. (Exception was the first game loss to Duncanville).

Additionally, the dual running back tandem of Ke’undrae Hollywood and Qualon Farrar in a very balanced offense.

Wish we would give him a look.

Because he is not an accurate passer

I will respectfully disagree. I have followed this young man all year. The announcers commented that smu’s new coach, Lashlee, attended a game scouting other players and that Henry-Jennings caught his eye because he could and did make every throw. He offered later and now he’s part of that team in Dallas.
He worked out this summer with NFL receivers and they all thought he was a college QB. This kid has the “it factor” coaches talk about. A quiet leader that is unflappable. He will be a very good college quarterback.

SMU is his only G6 offer. They have Mordica and Stone, I believe part of the offer was Lashlee trying to keep the so called Dallas team connection alive. Many of the pluses you mentioned was said about Martin.
