I was there. Just because Littrell hasn’t announced the starting QB doesn’t mean we won’t have a single 1st string QB. Competition is good and I have no problem with Littrell allowing Aune to feel like he has to earn the position. Martin may have had the best camp, but I think that may have been because he had more opportunity for growth. Aune and Martin both looked really sharp during drills against defense (excitingly sharp). However, when it came to the actual scrimmage, Aune stood out

Gotta disagree. The whole bball argument isn’t really relevant. They play roughly 30 games and have a 68 team field.
yes, it won’t be as dramatic as, you lose more than one and your season is over, but the games still matter. On top of that, by keeping even more teams in it later in the season will bring even more eyes to the games.
