I don't know if this has been discussed before, but Reese went to the line in OT this year with free throws to clinch the game and swished them. 

Similarly, he went to the line with NT up 74-72 last year against WKU and swished both free throws. From a stats standpoint, his % says he should have missed one of those, meanwhile, none of them even needed help from the rim to go through.

Yeah.  I remember shooting around with one of the guys from the '85 or '86 team (in the old rec center ?).   I was poking fun, because I was outshooting him from the FT line.    His comment was "do you want to be a player, or a pussy that can shoot free throws".   It was all in good fun.  I still laugh about that comment when I think about it today.

Not even sure who the player was, as I didn't really start following the BB team until the next year after that when I graduated.

I love every player on our team, but Reese brings a whole different energy level. Slapping the floor after big runs, insane alleyoops, and physical defense.

Free throws were huge that last minute. Hamlet and Reese sealed it down the stretch. Great team win!
