So what’s the deal with the west?

If we beat UAB twice we win the west? La Tech 2nd?

If we split La Tech wins? UNT 2nd?

UAB wins 2 La Tech wins? UAB 2nd?

Yup. La Tech is done at 12-4, since MTSU is the only series they missed and MTSU’s rescheduled series for next week is against FAU, not La Tech.

Conference winning %s if we sweep UAB:

1. North Texas - .786

2. La Tech - .750

3. UAB - .611

Conference winning %s if we split with UAB:

1. La Tech - .750

2. North Texas - .714

3. UAB - .667

Conference winning %s if we get swept by UAB:

1. La Tech - .750

2. UAB - .722

3. North Texas - .643

A lot of CUSA teams seem to be peaking at the right time, not sure if we are.

When we are at our best, we are the top team in the West, IMO, and can compete with WKU/Bassey.

Even if we are not at "peak level", I think we are still among the top 4 teams in the league (WKU, UNT, LT, MARSH).

Just simple things like cleaning up turnovers would make us a team that could win 3 games in 3 days. The inexperience on the bench is the most concerning, but these guys are equipped to win the whole thing.

I would also be concerned about a few other "tier 2" teams that have a player or firepower to steal a win early on.  UTSA comes to mind.  They don't have the depth to win the whole thing, but watch them early.

Ehh they are only good at home. They suck on the road, and playing back to back games on a neutral court would completely expose them.

Now others teams like ODU, maybe UTEP even could be more of a threat.

It won't be easy at all.
