Love the hire.  Somebody on here mentioned they knew Bennett and his brother and that they were characters.  Well respected defensive coach that our players on that side of the ball should love playing for.  This is going to be fun.  I love our offense, but I have missed a good defense more than anything else.  I am ready for us to earn our nickname.

BTW: Love the comment from the "stang", or is it "stank", fan.  Thought they didn't care about us.

My family is Legacy Baylor family - they LOVE Bennett. This is an amazing hire. Had an elite defense at Baylor in 2014 when they almost made it to the finals. I think this is a huge huge score and an amazing hire. I’ll bet he can score some transfers too hopefully.

I love this hire. His brother Jerry was the athletic director at our school. Phil is an awesome DC. Jerry is retired now, but I hope to run into him at games this year.
