Just lost another one today. You sure about that?

I show Simpson, Shorter, Brown, Johnson, McMillian, Jackson, Burns, Thompson (if he is moved back from DB), Ward and potentially Lee and Lyles moving from TE.

Shorter, Brown, Jackson, McMillian, Ward, and Simpson are the only scholarship receivers on the roster for an offensive that regularly puts 3-5 WR on the field at at time.  We better hope they are serious about using TEs in the offense this time but we heard that the last couple of years.

On a side note, did anyone else notice Troy Edwards’ son is on our roster? Apologies if I forgot or miss that we covered that already.

With the departures of Darden, Ogunmakin, & White...  that's a lot of last year's targets gone.   I think Shorter is the real deal, and Simpson definitely looks the part as well, but there are definitely looks for a guy of Nixon's abilities.   He caught over 1000 yards in 2018 & 2019 behind Laviska Shenault.   He could really shine here.   Wonder if the coaches have reached out?

This would be a great pickup for us to go with Shorter, Simpson, and Jackson. Need to have big development out of Brown and Thompson with 1 year under their belt. They both have tremendous ability. Then hopefully Johnson can get a grasp of the offense and quickly realize his potential out of HS as he and McMillian fall next in line.
