Mason Fine to Saskatchewan Roughriders (CFL)

CFL is really tight lipped about their salaries, but the team salary cap is <6M for a 56 man roster. Minimum salary is $65k. Looks like salary is not guaranteed for the season unless they are a veteran of certain years... and only if they are on the roster X amount of games first.

Is that US or Canadian pesos?

Please don’t mention it, but they accidentally put in 2 fifty yard lines and they made the end zones too big.  Next thing you know, Mason will be ending his sentences with, “eh ?”

Go Rough Riders !  Go Mason !

I wonder how often receivers run into the goal posts in the field of play.

Mason learns this year and next and takes over in 2023

RIDERS LOCK UP ALL-STAR QUARTERBACK CODY FAJARDO THROUGH 2022

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are pleased to announce that quarterback Cody Fajardo has signed a contract extension to stay in the Green and White through the 2022 season.

Fajardo (6’2-215lbs) had a breakout season with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2019 that saw him named a CFL All-Star and become the West Division nominee for Most Outstanding Player.

Yeah, unfortunately, unless something happens, we won't see him this year or next. I am very happy for him though! The world needs some more Mason Fine!

Who knows how it will work out, but I do know we didn't think he would replace Morris in his first college game and basically never relinquish the starting job.  I wish him well.

Agree. Get in there and learn the Canadian game. His foot is in the door.
