Cant remember if it was in the 4th qtr or not but we make two strait defensive stands forcing La Tech to punt and then we couldn't even get a first down! That was the deciding factor in the game for me.....When your defense that was getting run over all game finally makes a couple stops and you cant even get a first down? What the Hell Litrell 

 

Why are we not force feeding the ball to Darden??? He's our programs top WR for a reason! Get him the damn ball!

Yep! There was a safety over the top but that LB couldn’t stop a slant or an out route from Darden. They should of been dink and dunkin down the field and force the D to double down on Darden leaving Simpson Or AO wide open on single coverage

I don't believe there are any pre-snap reads going on when Bean is in. You can just tell by where he is looking that there is no defensive evaluation happening at the line.

Okay yeah our offense is top 5, but I would argue that a lot of yards came when we were down a ton. 
Also, you can have the top 5 offense in the country but still have a terrible OC that doesn’t need to be calling plays. 3rd and 12 runs??? Not letting Bean run?? Not using all options??

The decisions have costed us big time this year. We gain a lot of yards, but still lose by a good margin. That’s not something I would brag about

Not really. Top 10 in yards but 30 in points per game. 33 ppg is good but not elite and we all know how many of those were against backups in blowouts or the first game against FCS. Against first team defenses we are not averaging 33 for sure. 
We also never get off to a good start on offense (or defense). 
We are an average and predictable offense.

I saw two plays when there was no help for the linebacker,  I think the safety was blitzing, slant over the middle would have gone for big yards.   When I saw it I thought this cant be and we did nothing to take advantage of it.

One other thing, if we are going to do those KO then why not kick it out of bounds and have no return.   

Gee Hair-Griffin returning KO, who knew he was good at it, besides everyone but the coaching staff.

      Tim Pernetti's (new AAC Commissioner) remarks regarding exploring more corporate involvement seems interesting and innovative, sort of. Getting some heavy-hitter businesses on board with their big advertising/public-relations budgets. They get to splash their logos all over the AAC venues, ceremonies, uniforms, etc in exchange for some NIL type moola. I don't know, it all just feels weird and uncomfortable to this old fat guy.

      We have complained for years about being left in the dark. The Mean Green Club was promised quarterly meetings that never took place, now there is little to no coverage of the spring practices, player movement is constant so the days of watching a last second scholarship player developing in to a Hall of Fame performer are long gone ala Johnny Quinn, there is little to no fan engagement, etc... It just keeps getting worse and without a push to really involve the fans, I foresee a bleak future. They, the AD, has to create excitement around the team/program or Apogee will just become a waste of money, the new basketball arena will never happen and future adds like baseball will just be an idea that came too late. The days of the G5's are on their way out. It will be whittled down to the top 40 or 50 programs as D1. We might as well go back to our D1AA days and play at the FCS level. I am just about done with sports from a financial commitment position. The greed has ruined it for me. Their is zero loyalty towards the program by the players. It is all about them and how much money they can cram in their pockets and it appears our basketball coach encourages the lack of loyalty. I will watch on television, but that's about it, much like pro sports have become. I have no interest in attending a Cowboys' game live once the prices became ridiculous, same with the Mav's and Rangers' in that stupid new ballpark that was a waste of money. I had arrived at a point where I was only willing to invest in watching North Texas live, but the current situation has ruined that as well. The future of all of college sports is a disaster if some type of control isn't put in place. It is ridiculous and very sad. Guess I will end up spending my money on golf, fine food and drink, drugs, etc. and become a more interesting person.
