Women’s basketball at Texas

NT blown out 106-67.

Probably the best team NT will play, but the Green  looked like they didn't have a clue after the first quarter.

Nothing they could do against UT's 6'5 player Collier who UT left in till 5 minutes to go.  Instead of giving up countless layups, they should foul her and make her hit free throws.   They fouled her plenty, but still let her shoot.

Why Mitchell didn't play NT's biggest player Lamkin till the end is my complaint.   Give her some minutes and let her learn.  Starting one forward, 6' Towney is just not going to work against many teams.

I also wonder why Shepard is used so little.  At 6'2 she is one of NT's tallest and she plays tough.  NT's two 6'3 players look like projects that may not help this year.

This NT team is both young and for the most part has not played together much in actual games.  They should get better and have to based on this game to be competitive in CUSA.

Not really, surely you did not think either basketball team would win.

The football game was the epitome of pathetic.  An UTSA team that NT should have beat, and NT was completely embarrassed by their lack of competitiveness.

UTSA is much better than UNT.

They obviously played much better.

However, this is a UTSA team that was similarly demolished in Denton last year.

Emotion and coaching are big factors in football.  UTSA was playing at home with revenge as a motivator.  NT went into the game flat and got stomped.

If UTSA is a superior team, it is not by enough to warrant the blowout in San Antonio.

It is Littrell and company job to prepare the team for the game, they did a horrible job.

UTSA lost to BYU by 7 on the road, Army , FAU, and perhaps another team that I can't recall. They are playing good ball this year and winning all the close ones.

Look beyond last year's results and go up and down UTSA's 2020 results.  They are a completely different football program compared to last year.

They got the jolt they needed (new staff) - don't know if it will last - and we are lacking in just about every category: preparation, inspiration, and game management.  It was a recipe for disaster.

UTSA losses are are more impressive then their wins over UTEP, USM, NT, SFA, MTSU, and Tex St

They are definitely better than their recent teams, but I still think they are a team; NT should have been competitive with.
