If they can find teams that can play, I would expect most of theĀ Ā ESPN bowls to be played.Ā  Ā They are basically tv events anyway. The crowd or lack of will not matter.Ā 

The lack of worthy teams could derail bowls.Ā  This year's bowl matchups could depend more on what teams will play than records.Ā
