CUSA announced that all the marching bands have been sidelined. The bands will only be performing in the stands for this upcoming season.

No GB, don't spread out on a 100X53.5 yard field!   Stay up in a 30X30 foot section of the stands.  It's much safer.

I would be very surprised if the GB is very big this year.   It should probably be something only a little larger than the b-ball band.

I suppose the main issue is getting a band (large or otherwise) on and off the field whilst maintaining social distancing. BUT the same issue should apply to the entrance and exit of the football teams. Interesting that Texas is going to reduce their Band to 80-100 in the stands. But I guess that a 400+ member band spread 6 feet apart would take up too many of the already reduced seats planned for this year.

Until there us a reliable vaccine, I suggest the best place for the band, football team, and fans is not in a stadium.
