Few receivers were more important to their team last season than Darden, who caught 76 passes for an otherwise disappointing Mean Green offense. With a new quarterback under center and possession receiver Michael Lawrence gone, Darden might have to do even better in 2020.

I guess if enough people keep saying how great Texas and Ehlinger are supposed to be and how Texas is just about back it might finally happen.

Don’t cut Ehlinger short.  I watched him play in person on several occasions and he’s an excellent QB.

Darden is so underrated.  This young man has turned out so much better than I imagined he would.  Honestly, I didn't really know what we had when he signed with us because he was a late commit.  Great hands.  He makes the difficult look so easy.

He is a very good player and  I am not trying to cut him short. But it's hard pressed to find someone lately that the press has tried so hard to make it sound like he is one of the all time greats. For the money spent by Texas the success they have had is underwhelming to say the least.
