So, I saw this and something was said in here that caught my attention. At the end, it says she plans to study Nursing while at UNT. I don't know anything about UNT having a Nursing program. Is it something that we have an agreement with TWU for or does the UNT Health Science school in Fort Worth provide this? I thought the Health Science was just under the UNT System, but is it's on separate school. Does anyone know about this?

She can probably get a degree in anything related to medicine, nutrition for example(very tough curriculum;  parallels a pre-med degree up to a point ), or any degree related to health.  After she graduates from UNT she could apply to a nursing school.  My daughter graduated from A&M, then went to UT's nursing school in Houston.

But yes, I wish UNT had a nursing program.  And correct me if I'm wrong, but I think most college cursing programs are only for two years?  I'm too lazy to look it up.

I think you can be an RVN nurse with an associates degree but need a 4 year degree program to be a full fledged nurse.

If we had college cursing programs I would have had a 4.0 at North Texas!
