ESPN projection for 2021 tournament

ESPN has Western Kentucky going to the big dance next year.  Why always them who get pre-season accolades?  Lazy sports writers who are still living in 1990's.  We should handle them again next year, as our recruiting is superior to theirs.

I think most outside prognosticators will easily pick WKU as next year's CUSA championship.

If you believe the above comments, you just have not done a lot of research.

They return 6'11 Charles Bassey, easily the pick of all CUSA players to have a successful have a pro career.

Than add Hollingworth who would have likely won the MVP of the league if WKU  had won the conference instead of NT.

Then add two more returning starters that averaged in double digits in Williams and Anderson.

WKU also added the number 10 rated best juco in the country.

NT will have a real battle to win CUSA, the lost of Gibson certainly did not help.  NT can win again, but they will not be favored and the newcomers will have to be really good.

All that is true, but as long as we have young Hamlet, we shall be able to suffer the slings and arrows of the Hilltoppers.
