Would not be surprised to see the conference tournaments for several Olympic sports cut back or canceled in most G5 conferences this coming year

Well I have always wonder why you play the season and then go to the tournament to see who wins the conference.  You can have a great season and have one off night and you got nothing for your efforts.

Personally I think the more basketball the better... the tournament generates revenue for the conference, the facility is already set up, might as well use it for more teams., and milk it for more money.   I am fine with rewarding high seeded teams with a bye.

Travel costs, coupled with no air travel will significantly impact the tournament as we used to know it. Perhaps this is a one time thing and all will be back to normal in a year or two....however, I doubt it will ever be the same.

Probably, but I don't envy the team if they have to bus to El Paso.
