Cas is on a roll in recruiting. Finished last year with Hamlet, Reese, Geu, and Bell. Now this year starting with Jones, Robinson, and McBride who all have big offer lists. Very exciting to see

One big away from being the number one contender?

One versatile big who can play the 4 or the 5, like Geu but a better shooter, and one more scoring wing, like Brandon Murray or Simeon Fryer. Problem is we only have one more scholarship.

Hopefully Shakeem has grown into his body and can bang and the positive side is Muhammad is a senior next year. I would be content replacing Gue with a JUCO or Grad transfer big of essentials the same quality.

If Mac were like most coaches there would be at least two ships not renewed.

NT does need another  big, but I think with the current lineup, Mac may have already improved a very good team.

I hate that Gibson chose to leave, but Mac has already filled that void.

Bell was actually in my view playing at or above Geu level at the end of he season.

The problem if both Simmons and Bell start, that doesn't leave much front court depth behind them.

J. Simmons should already have graduated with his fifth year coming up.   Muhammed could transfer down and probably start for a lot of teams.  Only the coaching staff knows if Alcindor can play.

I thought Bell was the 2nd best player at the end of the year. He toughened up a lot in conference play, and produced more than Geu minus Geu's great defense and shot blocking.

Mykell is a guy that will play big into a role on the bench next season

One left now.

Hamlet, Reese, Z Simmons, Bell, J Simmons, Mohamed, Wise, Alcindor, and J Jackson puts us at 9 returning scholarship players. Rubin Jones, Mykell Robinson, and Mardrez McBride put us at 12, and we get 13.
